Season 2008/2009

 

Under 16 End of Season Report

 

With an unsettled start to the season, we lost our first three league games. Then things started to go right and the boys began to play the way they played last season and we beat Portsmouth in a friendly, in style. With this win behind us, confidence grew and we began to believe in ourselves as a squad. Since that game we have not been beaten and we have got better and stronger in every game that we have played. We finished 3rd in the league and won the New Milton 7's along the way. If we had started the season in this way, I believe that we would have won the league. The whole squad should be very proud of what they have achieved. Having coached them for the last 8 years, and watched them grow we are -

 

THIRD in the league!!!!!!
