Trojans 1st XV win 2009 Hampshire Bowl

The 1st XV travelled to the Isle of Wight to meet Sandown and Shanklin in the final of the Hampshire Bowl coming out with a 21 - 0 victory over a challenging Sandown & Shanklin side. Forwards Ben Featherstone and Ian Campbell scored tries with Chris Boyd making one conversion and kicking 3 penalties cheered on by a good numbers of supporters making the "overseas" trip.

Captain Tim Higham (right) and Vice Captain Chris Boyd (left) both achieved 100 appearances for the first team in this game. Both players have come through the Trojans Youth Section, Tim playing his first senior game in the 2004/05 season and Chris in the 2005/06 season.
