2009 Trojans Rugby Golf Day

The 15th Annual Trojans Rugby Golf day was again well organised by Stu Good and Neil Hagerty at East Horton on 19th June. A promising day greeted the 39 golfers as coffee and bacon butties were enjoyed on the terrace. The day stayed bright and a gentle breeze kept the temperatures to a reasonable level. The morning Texas scramble was followed by a generous lunch then on to the Woodland course for the afternoon Stapleford. A few libations were much appreciated before the evening dinner where Neil Hagerty presented the awards.

A technical hitch meant that there were no photographs of the day but the winners were -

Trojans Champion 2009: 1^st Martin Webb (42 points)

Runners-up: Kevin Way (41 points) and Mike Morris (38 points)

Morning Texas Scramble:  Team 2 - Anthony Carozzi, Tom Cherrett, Fraser Mcleod and Jeff Priest

Afternoon Championship: Team 8 - Stu Good, Wyn Jones, Rob Scurfield and Peter Wiles

Nearest the Pin: Jeff Priest

Longest Drive: Patrick Lyons
