Trojans' Ladies support Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service
Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service is aiming to
change
perceptions about career opportunities in the fire and rescue service and reach
a wider, more diverse audience to ensure that the fire and rescue service has
the skills needed for the modern world.

The
Service recognises that the communities it serves have a variety of
needs and hopes and sees understanding these as key to improving its
service and reducing risk. Part of achieving this is to make sure
that the workforce reflects those communities and is always ready to
respond to others professionally and with respect and understanding. |

The
Service is hoping to raise awareness of the great career opportunities
available in the fire service, and hope that more women in Hampshire
will consider this amongst the many other career opportunities available
to them. With this in mind, they have been working with Trojans Ladies
Team to raise their profile. |

In
August, Lisa Suffling, Lucy Struthers, and Donna Rose took part in a
photo shoot at our grounds, to
help Hampshire Fire and Rescue design their new recruitment campaign: '
there is more to life with a career in the fire and rescue service'.
Banners will be displayed pitch side and throughout the Southampton area
as part of the recruitment campaign. |
