New and Very Old at
Trojans RFC
Having played at Trojans through
the Mini and Junior sections, three of this seasons Trojans Colts
played senior rugby with their Dads for the first time, in the
Boxing Day match. Fraser Moncrieffe, Ben Featherstone and Dan
Woods from Trojans Colts played alongside the Trojans Third XV (and
sometime 1st XV) stalwarts , Chris Moncrieffe, Richard Featherstone
and Grant Woods.
With a blend of old heads, guest
players and these young colts, the Trojans Wanderers played a hard
fought game to secure victory, two superb tries coming from Fraser
Moncrieffe with his father Chris scoring in the final moments.

Three brothers in one
game
On 9th December 2006, the three
Fitzgerald brothers, Ricki, Gary and Steve played in the same 1st XV
game against Medway in the RFU Junior Vase. Surely a Trojans record.
They are pictured here after the second
occasion against Sandown & Shanklin on the 21st January 2007 in the
Hampshire Bowl.
