The Dan Surtees award 2010

At the Trojans Youth end of season dinner held at the Botleigh Grange the Dan Surtees Award was presented.

The Dan Surtees Award came about after the Youth section was given some money by National Westminster Bank. This coincided with the tragic loss and death of Dan Surtees, the oldest son of Pete and Mary Surtees. Dan was undoubtedly on his way to being something special in rugby having represented Hampshire and England at Student level and was and still is held in high esteem here at Trojans and we wanted his memory to live on.

This year It went to someone who over the last 5 years has been involved in not only Child welfare and recently Registration for the whole of the Youth Section but also in managing her section. Most appreciated by all and well deserved the Trophy went to YVONNE CAMPBELL.
