Summer Tournaments Success.

A good summer for Trojans this year with winners again in the Deloitte 7s competition held at Havant RFC.

With a team of Chris Hamp, Neal Haworth, Chris Street, Calum Hall, Elliott Culley, Josh Bowker, Jack and Rich Rowland, Trojans were well equipped to deal with the various teams entered.

Someone forgot to remove the cup from the club cabinet, to take to Havant, so the incentive was even greater.

With a golden try final, and reduced numbers, the team stepped up and broke Havant's heart with the winning try.

This is now consecutive years as winners, (we also supplied all the players that won the first year but under a pseudonym) so really Trojans have won 3 years running.

Sunday 29th August 2010.

Oakmeadians O2 RFU backed Touch Tournament  saw two teams entered as Trojan Destroyers  made up of Rudi Kochanowski, Chris Street,  Elliott Culley, Calum Hall, Josh Bowker, Dan Thompson, Rich Rowland and Tony Hall (scored a devastating try on the day), and Trojan Warriors comprising Neil Andrews, Mandy Baverstock, Tom Bryan, Sam McBain, David Kilcoyne, Gareth Preston and Johnny Hodder.

Destroyers managed a final place in the cup (for the second year) and were only beaten 2 - 1 in the final by Oakmeadians after some hard games throughout the day. Warriors fared even better and were winners of the Bowl in a well won 1 - 0 win over another team made up from Oakmeadians.
