Vacant Position: Trojans Girls U15 Lead Coach 2017/18

Trojans Girls Rugby looking for a new Trojans Girls U15 Lead Coach for the 2017/18 season.

Trojans Rugby, a progressive Rugby Club based around Southampton and Eastleigh are looking for coaches to help develop the whole spectrum of players within the clubs Girls section.

The Club currently has two regular Ladies senior sides, with the first Ladies team playing in Women's Championship (South) and we have also have a U13s, U15s and U18s girl teams. Both the U15s and U18s last season played in the National Cup Competitions and both made it to the finals which was a great achievement in their first year of the national competition.

We are an ambitious club who want to promotion and develop the Girls rugby working with other clubs in our Local Rugby Partnership (LRP) group.

Qualifications & Experience:
Looking for experienced male/female coach with L1 (preferred L2) or have already started the L2 process to coach the 15 a-side squad. Would need to be able to commit to home/away Sunday fixtures and Monday night training.

This is an opportunity for a coach with previous lead coaching experience to develop and grow girls rugby. The position is supported with a U15s Manager and U15s Assistant Coach.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead Coach needs to lead the coaching team and be responsible for the players development.
Lead Coach to evaluate coaching sessions and games with the coaching team and players, where appropriate.
Coaches needs to mentor and advice players where appropriate.
Coaches needs to ensure that all sessions are designed to develop the skills and understanding of the players in the squad.
Coaches need to have the commitment to attend all coaching sessions, matches involved with the relevant squad and coaching meetings.
Lead Coach needs to liaise with the Girls Head Coach to ensure that the overall objectives of the coaching plan dovetail into the Girls Coaching Strategy Plans.
Promotes the Trojans Rugby Code of Conduct in all aspects but with particular regard to the coaching section

Season 2017/2018 dates/times:
Training nights Monday 7.00pm - 8.30pm at Trojans Rugby Club.
Fixtures on Sunday's typically 2.00pm KO
