Big day at the Club this Sunday.
The Under 13s play New Milton and District in
the final of The Hampshire Cup at 11.00am
and the Colts play Winchester at 2.00 pm. to
decide the top of table positions.

Congratulations to the 1st XV who, despite
losing in their last league match against second in the table Old Elthamians,
have retained their place in London 1 South for next season and will look
forward to local clashes with Havant, Basingstoke and Gosport. |

Trojans Junior section continued
with their impressive season with an excellent day at the New Milton 7s.
The under 14s, 15s and 16s sent
teams and the 14s and 15s won the Main Cup competition and the 16s won the
Bowl.
With the 13s already in the
Hampshire Cup 15 a side final at Trojans on 29 April and the 14s and 15s in
the market for runners up spot in their respective years' first divisions
the future looks rosy for Trojans Rugby. |

VOLUNTEER WANTED.
The committee is very keen to find a suitable volunteer to take on the role
of Sponsorship Committee Chairman to head up a small group to cover
all aspects of sponsorship and, in particular, to develop sponsorship for
the big project now underway to replace the training floodlights. Anyone
interested should contact our Chairman, Shaun Magill. |

Congratulations to the Colts who beat Shelford (Cambs) 13 - 10 in the
National Colts Cup. They will now play Cinderford in the last 16, next
Sunday, 4th March.
Also congratulations to Max Bartlett, Ben
Brooks, Morgan Day, Connor Jack, Tom Jones, Max Long and Sam Webb who all
debuted and performed admirably for the Hampshire Under 14 teams at
Bournemouth RFC on Sunday 26th against Dorset & Wilts
And Ollie Manger who adds his name to the
Under 18 honours and Eoin Baxter who played for the Under 20s |

Cup. Head coach reports that it was the best level of performance the U11’s
have ever achieved and was a milestone. |

Congratulations to the Colts who beat Reading Abbey 22 - 3 in a great game
to move into the fourth round of the Colts National Cup.

congratulations to the Under 13s who won their first round Hampshire Cup
game against Alton 41 - 0. In doing so Russell Bennett took his total points
to 114 (100 in tries) with Eddie Jenkinson moving to 120 points. |

Under 13 team who on Sunday raised his season's points total to 114,
closely followed by Russell Bennett who is now on 99pts. Not bad in six

Hampshire against Surrey on 16th October and particularly those making their
debut (*) -Dawn
Seymore (capt), Sally Greenway, Sarah Butler, Holly Meyers *, Hannah
Hartshorn *, Rachel Mayhew *, Rachel Twinning *, Jenna Wisniewski, Kathryn
George , Donna Rose, Sarah French *, Lauren Datcombe *, Leah Thompson
*, and Laura Kemp.
Also to Flora Carpenter and Phoebe Murray who
played for Hampshire Under 15s, also against Surrey. Flora and Phoebe become
the first Trojan girls to play for the County. They play their regular rugby
with Penguins/Solent Sirens, a "Cluster" side created to ensure games for
players whose clubs do not have enough players although they are registered
with their own clubs. |

Under 14s
Congratulations to Morgan Day, Josh Sayers,
Ben Brooks, Kal Traynor, Joe Wright, Sam Webb, Tom Jones, Max Long and
Connor Jack who have been selected for Club Hampshire Under 14s Training
squad. After two gruelling trials, including the final process in the baking
October sun of last weekend, the boys will now join up with the County
coaches for further training sessions with a view to selection for the
County Squad later in the year. Well done lads. |
